Bringing the future onto the rails together
MONOCAB is represented at InnoTrans together with the German Centre Rail Future (DZM), RailCampus OWL and the enableATO research project.
- DZM combines expertise from science, business, society and public administration for new, sustainable and digitally connected mobility solutions.
- RailCampus OWL (Minden) connects higher education institutions, businesses and public partners – a place for research, development, testing, and training and professional development relating to the railway of the future.
- enableATO develops and tests technologies for highly automated rail transport, including new, small vehicle concepts such as MONOCAB.
PIN – Personal Individual Transport
Reactivation of disused railway lines, new addition to public transport: Small, lightweight, automated vehicles utilise existing rail infrastructure, combining the advantages of individual mobility with those of public transport. This is how a new mobility service is created from existing infrastructure.

„We dare to think ahead.“ – with this ambition, we are driving MONOCAB forward. In just a few years, an idea has turned into a functioning vehicle, as well as a comprehensive research and development project: innovation made in OWL.
