1907 \u2013 The starting gun<\/h2>\n

As early as 1907, the inventor developed Louis Brennan<\/a> a visionary transport concept:
\nA gyroscopically stabilised monorail. The use of gyroscopes was intended to enable the vehicle to travel stably on just one rail \u2013 an approach that was far ahead of its time.<\/p>\n

Even though the system didn't catch on at the time, Brennan's development is considered an important technological origin for today's concepts like MONOCAB.<\/p>\n

The fundamental idea of rethinking rail transport and connecting it with innovative technology continues to form the basis for modern approaches in the field of mobility.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

2018 - German Mobility Award<\/h2>\n

In 2018, the further development of the idea by Thorsten F\u00f6rsterling of the Landeseisenbahn Lippe e.V. won the German Mobility Award 2018 \u2013 Open Innovation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The focus was no longer on technology \u2013 but on regional development: by reactivating unused rail potential for greater mobility justice in rural areas.<\/p>\n
