The route is closed to regular traffic, so all procedures can be carried out under defined safety and release rules.<\/p>\n<p>The test vehicle \u201e<strong>Hermann<\/strong>\u201c, which is on a round <strong>50-metre test track<\/strong> is operated. Additionally, it is possible to <strong>Assembly hall<\/strong> to visit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The aim of the test days<\/strong> is to test, validate and further develop the central functions of the autonomous system under real conditions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n                                            <\/div>\n                <\/article>\n                            <article class=\"grid grid-md-1-2\">\n                    <div class=\"grid-content\">\n                        <h3>The focus is on the following topics:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Commissioning and calibration of the vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Calibration and validation of sensor systems<\/li>\n<li>Obstacle detection<\/li>\n<li>Verification of safety-critical functions<\/li>\n<li>Perception in a closed loop<\/li>\n<li>Routine operations training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The vehicle is driving in the <strong>ATO Mode<\/strong> (Automatic Train Operation) defines trajectories autonomously and is subsequently reset via remote control.
